കഥ: തള്ളവിരൽ

ഇടത്തെ കൈയ്യിലെ തള്ളവിരൽ അല്പം ചുവന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. അല്പം തടിച്ചിട്ടുമുണ്ട്. തള്ളവിരൽ! ദൈവമറിഞ്ഞിട്ട പേരാണ്. അല്ല ദൈവമല്ലലോ, മനുഷ്യരല്ലേ? മനുഷ്യർക്ക് അത്രയും ബുദ്ധിയുണ്ടോ? ഇല്ല, എന്റെ അറിവിലില്ല. ഇടത്തെ കൈയ്യയത് നന്നായി. എഴുതാൻ കുഴപ്പമില്ലലോ! നാളെ അസ്സയിൻമെൻറ് സബ്മിറ്റ് ചെയ്യാനുള്ള അവസാന തിയതിയാണ്. നാളെ കൊടുക്കാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ലെങ്കിൽ ഈ ഡിസംബറിലും പരീക്ഷയെഴുതാൻ പറ്റില്ല. 2 വർഷംകൊണ്ട് എഴുതിയെടുക്കേണ്ട എം.എ പരീക്ഷ ഇപ്പൊ തന്നെ 3 വർഷമായി. ജോലിക്കിടയിലെ ഒരു അവസാന ശ്രമമാണ്, ഒന്ന് രക്ഷപെടാൻ. പക്ഷെ ഭൂരിഭാഗം മനുഷ്യരും … Continue reading കഥ: തള്ളവിരൽ

ഓർമ്മകളുടെ ചെപ്പിൽ നമ്മൾ സൗകര്യപൂർവം മറക്കുന്ന ചില നിമിഷങ്ങളില്ലേ? ചില കടപ്പാടുകളുടെ? ചില വേദനകളുടെ? ചില കറുത്ത മഞ്ചാടികുരുകൾ, മഷി തീർന്ന പേനകൾ, ഭംഗി പോയ മയില്പീലിത്തുണ്ടുകൾ... വിസ്‌മൃതിയുടെ ആഴങ്ങളിലെത്ര മറന്നുവെച്ചാലും, എത്ര ദൂരെ കൊണ്ടുപേക്ഷിച്ചാലും പിന്നെയും നമ്മളെ തേടി വീട്ടിലെത്തുന്ന ചില പൂച്ചകുട്ടികളെ പോലെ.

Photo on http://www.changschoolcreates.ca ഇരുട്ടിനെന്തൊരു ഭംഗിയാണ്. കറുപ്പുടുത്തൊരു പെണ്ണിനെ പോലെ,അവളുടെ മാർദ്ദവ- മുള്ള കൈകളിലെ കരിവള- കളെ പോലെ, അവളുടെ കൺപീലികളിലെ മഷികറു- പ്പിനെ പോലെ, അവളുടെ കണ്ണുകളാകുന്ന കരിവണ്ടു- കളെ പോലെ, അവളുടെ പേനമുനയിൽ ഉരഞ്ഞീ ലോകത്തേക്ക് പിറന്നു വീഴുന്ന ഓരോ ഉരുളൻ വാക്കിനെയും പോലെ, അവ വെട്ടി മിനുക്കി പാകപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന അവളുടെ മനസ്സിന്റെയുള്ളറയിലെ നിഗൂഢതകളെ പോലെ. ഇരുട്ടിനെന്തൊരു ഭംഗിയാണ്!
