Memories flash through your eye lids
And you want to shout,
I was there.
I was there.
Only, this time it’s different.
Nobody recognizes you.
Nobody turns to say yes.
Nobody shocks you with a ‘No’.
Only this time,
Time has flown past us.
We have changed beyond recognition.
Memories lie crumbled,
Unwashed, unattended…
Like a dead man.
Forgotten.
